88 dogs rescued....
On Wednesday, January 28th, 2012, Animal Rescue of Carroll came together with other shelters and rescues across Iowa to help rescue and remove 88 dogs living in deplorable conditions in a rural Sac County, Iowa property. Animal Rescue of Carroll took in 6 of these dogs, 1 male and 5 females, two of which are pregnant and due any day.
What can I do to help?
Animal Rescue of Carroll is in need of food, cleaning supplies, and volunteers to care for dogs living at the canine shelter. ARC asks for dry dog adult dog food such as Purina, Pedigree, Iams, or higher quality. Cleaning supplies include bleach, paper towels, garbage bags, spray bottles, rubber gloves, laundry detergent, dish soap, etc.
ARC needs help caring for the dogs housed at the canine shelter. If you can donate an hour or two or your time once a month, a week or more, please fill out the contact form
here.
Monetary donations are also being sought to help cover the cost of grooming, veterinary care, care for expected litter of puppies, and supplies.
